What Your Wildside Adventure Trip Includes:
Trip prices include experienced leadership, overnight accommodations if applicable, tents, stoves, fuel, cookware, and water purification.  (Wildside Adventures uses Polar Pure, an iodine based water treatment.  It is recommended that if you have thyroid problems this product not be used.  We will provide an alternative water treatment to participants this applies to.).  To keep trip costs to a minimum, participants will be responsible for providing their own meals.  We are happy to supply you with a "Suggested Menu" and provide you with assistance.

What to Bring:
We are happy to provide some of the equipment for your trip (see above).  On receipt of your deposit, we will send you a specific list of things you will need to bring.  You provide your clothing and personal gear, sleeping bag and pad, daypack or backpack, bike for biking trips (or we can arrange a rental), food.

Transportation:
Unless specifically indicated on the itinerary, transportation is not included in the price of your trip.  However, we can give you guidance on travel arrangements or put you in contact with other trip participants from your area.

Cancellation Policy:
Wildside Adventures and Woods Friendly Environmental Retreat will refund all monies if we receive your cancellation prior to fourteen days before the event date.  No deposits or trip fees will be refunded if your cancellation is received within the fourteen days of the event date.  If a trip must be canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as unsafe weather conditions, Wildside Adventures will reschedule the event or issue full credit.  If an emergency, illness, or injury arises during the trip, and you are unable to complete the scheduled trip, a refund will not be given but you may sign up for another Wildside Adventures trip, workshop or retreat that is of equal or lesser value.  If a credit is issued to you for a trip or workshop, the credit must be used within one year.

Participant Obligations:
As a participant, it is your obligation to follow the directions of the trip/program guide(s), while under our care.  Their directions are not considered as advice, but as decisions we have made as a company to ensure the safety of you and everyone else.  Such directives may include the mandatory use of appropriate footwear and clothing, and instructions to stay on the trail unless otherwise directed.  Remember, your decisions and behavior impact the experience had by everyone on the trip.

It is also your obligation to advise Wildside Adventures and Woods Friendly Environmental Retreat in advance of the trip of any special dietary requirements and medical conditions that you may have.  We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs within reason (i.e., vegetarian, lactose intolerant, etc.)  Your medical information is confidentially held by your trip guides in the event that you require medical attention

How did you hear about us?  

One-half of the trip/workshop price is required to reserve your space.  The balance must be received at least one month prior to the trip or workshop date (unless otherwise stated).

Upon receipt of your registration form and deposit, we will forward all pertinent information pertaining to your trip or workshop (i.e., equipment list, trip itinerary, driving directions to the meeting place or trailhead, etc.)  In our continued effort to reduce our impact on the environment, we send all correspondence electronically unless otherwise requested.
